These services include a library of over 3000 books, a video tape library that includes many new movie releases, language audio tapes and computers loaded with language software.
Jazykové centrum, located in Stará budova 126, would like to invite students to come and use our language acquisition services free of charge. These services include a library of over 3000 books, a video tape library that includes many new movie releases, language audio tapes and computers loaded with language software. We currently have monthly/weekly subscriptions to 15 English, German and French magazines as well as receiving the Wall Street Journal daily. We are open daily for your convenience.
Other English services include the following:
- Free business seminars on a variety of topics, including Time Management, Leadership, Ethics and Human Resource issues. These will start in November.
- Prominent international business people will be scheduled to speak on their experiences in the field.
- Three conversational English classes using the Bible as a text will be starting on 6/10 at 18:00, 6/11 at 18:00 and 6/12 at 4:30. No knowledge of the Bible is needed.
- Movie nights will be scheduled. Check with Jazykové centrum for more details.
- We sell many of the English text books used for classes at VŠE
If you need a quiet place to come and study during the day we can provide that. We are staffed with Czechs and native English speakers. We look forward to serving you.
